Last Post of 2009

2009 was the lamest year of my life. The brightspot of my job search was the chance to meet lots of great people. Most of whom I imagine I will see again sometime in the future. Bring on 2010, it is going to be a hell of a year!

I have been really busy trying to get some of my unfinished character projects completed.
I found this old drawing when i was cleaning my studio. I think I got a thing for drawing big noses.

Militant Ant-Eaters and Video Games

Today it is all about Militant Ant-Eaters for some reason.

My head is kinda numb from all the job searching for the past 5 months so creativity is slowly returning. The Video Games, Burritos, and Beer are speeding me to recovery; contrary to what my wife has to say.

Microsoft and Sony predict a full recovery if I keep playing the games.

BioMechanical Sewer Rat?

I am really into the mix of hard surfaces and organics these days.

This thing is a drawing that I am working on that will probably become a sculpt eventually. It looks a little cute still, I am not sure if I want to go the full evil monty with it or not yet.

I originally saw it as some sort of sewer creature that was guarding a hidden cache of something, but now I am kinda feeling a little adventure from it.

At any rate this is the rough line drawing, fill and iteration will follow if I don't get bored with it.
